Chess

Chess is offered as a lunch-time club at Abbotsford Primary School. It is great for developing strategic thinking, improved self-esteem, increasing attention span, lateral thinking, social skills and analytical skills.

Each week your child will receive different lessons from a structured syllabus and play in a fun tournament play off. Prizes are awarded at the end of term.

In Term 4, Chess Club will run on:

• Day: Tuesday (starting 13/10/26 till 08/12/26)
• Time: 1:00 - 1:50 pm 
• Open to: 1-6
• Max: 22 students

Coding / Computer Programming
Abbotsford Primary School will continue to offer coding as part of its' after school clinics offering in 2026. These coding sessions will be run by Digimaker.

In Term 4, Coding Clinic will run on:

• Open to: Years 2-6
• Max: N/A

Soccer

Strike Soccer will continue to be our new soccer clinic provider! The classes will be led by an experienced coach who plays in the NPL, has European soccer experience, and boasts 8 years of coaching expertise.

In Term 4, Soccer will run

• Day: Tuesday (starting 06/10/26 till 08/12/26)
• Time: 3:45 - 4:45 pm
• Open to: F-6 students
• Free Trial Available
• Option for 5 sessions booking available

Australian Rules Football (Footy) 

Beau and the team at Junior Footy Stars have worked with thousands of players and students, helping them to develop their football. Junior Footy Stars work with AFL players and coaching staff to develop programs to deliver the highest quality standards of programs focusing on the key fundamentals of the game. • Open to: All year levels

Junior Rockers

Junior Rockers offers musical programs for students at Abbotsford Primary School. We believe a great music program needs to offer exceptional value to students, parents, the school and the wider school community. 

In Term 4, Junior Rockers will continue to provide

• Music lessons including guitar, piano, singing, etc
• Private or shared lessons
• Lessons conducted during school time or after school
• Financial hardship assistance available

YES Badminton

Give your child a fun Term 4 start in badminton! ?

Join YES Badminton's Afterschool Program at Abbotsford Primary School, a friendly, beginner focused program where kids build skills and confidence while having fun on the court!!!

When: Every Mondays, 3:45 - 4:45pm | Term 4: Oct 5 to Dec 18 (11 sessions)
Where: Abbotsford Primary School, Basketball Courts
Cost: $31/session ($341 for all 11 sessions)

Ages: All primary school ages welcome!
