Peter Emerson

Treasurer

Year 4 Parent

Peter Emerson holds the position of Treasurer, and chairs the Finance Sub-Committee. Peter is a Chartered Accountant who brings more than ten years' finance and accounting experience across a range of industries to the position. Peter is a parent of Atticus in Year 4, and future Abbotsford Primary School student Isolde. In his spare time, he enjoys kicking the footy at the park, reading books on local history, perfecting his lamb shoulder roast and pottering around the garden. He is also a long-suffering fan of the Melbourne Demons.

Troy Parsons

Troy Parsons is an Abbotsford local with two children in the school.

Troy has a passion for public realms that are safe and accessible

for children, that foster child independence and mobility.  This 

results in happy and independent kids!  He is a member of the City of Yarra

Active Transport Advisory Committee, local advocacy groups and has made

numerous contributions to various transport and urban design consultations

at the local and state government level.  Troy and his family love living local

in Abbotsford with great local amenities, green space, and a world-leading public

school at its heart!
